Hot Citrus Mocha: Zesty, Chocolatey, and Warmly Inviting

A refreshing twist on the classic mocha, where vibrant citrus syrup meets rich chocolate and espresso for a bold, aromatic experience.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate sauce – As needed

  • Citrus syrup – 15g

  • Milk – 250g

  • Coffee beans – 18g

  • Dried citrus slice – 1 piece

How to Make It

Step 1: Drizzle the Chocolate Base

Start by drizzling chocolate sauce along the inside of the cup.
This will create a deliciously rich base.

Step 2: Froth the Citrus Milk

Add 15g of citrus syrup to 250g of milk.
Froth well until the milk is smooth and creamy, then pour it into the cup.

Step 3: Brew the Espresso

Grind 18g of coffee beans, tamp firmly in a double cup portafilter, and extract a shot of 36g of espresso.

Step 4: Combine and Pour

Pour the espresso into the cup with the frothy citrus milk and chocolate drizzle.

Step 5: Finish and Garnish

Top with a smooth layer of milk foam and garnish with a dried citrus slice for a zesty finish.
