Why Does the Coffee Machine Need to Be Protected from Freezing?
In cold weather, any residual water inside the coffee machine may freeze, leading to the
following issues:
• Pipe Blockage: Frozen water can clog the internal water circuit.
• Component Damage: Ice expansion can damage internal pipes or the water pump.
• High Repair Costs: Improper anti-freeze may cause irreversible damage.

Steps to Prevent Freezing in Winter
If the coffee machine is used in an environment where the indoor temperature is below 0°C
(32℉), the following steps to prevent freezing must be followed before turning it off every day.
1. Drain the Water Before Stopping Use
(1) For Machine with External Water Supply (Mainly Commercial Coffee Machines)
• Before turning off the machine, close the external water inlet valve.
• After closing the external water supply, press the manual coffee-making button to release water for 10 seconds before turning it off. Then press the ON/OFF button to shut down the machine.
• After completing these steps, turn off the machine’s power switch.
• Before using the machine again, ensure the external water valve is opened before operating as usual.

(2) For Machine with Water Tank (Mainly Home Coffee Machines)
• Before turning off the machine, remove the water tank (disconnect the water supply).
• Place the empty water tank back into the slot, then press the manual coffee-making
button to release hot water from the group head for about 15-20 seconds (manually hold the float in place for machines that display F3 or have a sensor float).
• After 15-20 seconds, press the manual making coffee button again to complete the brew boiler drainage.
• Press the power switch to turn off the machine and disconnect the main power supply to finish the draining process.

2. Storage Requirements
• Indoor Storage: Keep the coffee machine in a warm and dry indoor environment above 1°C (34℉) to prevent freezing.
• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Protect the machine from aging due to temperature fluctuations.
• Store After Cleaning: Clean the water tank, filter, and other components to ensure no residual water is left inside.

What If the Coffee Machine Is Already Frozen?
Do NOT start the machine by force!
1. Move the machine to a warm indoor environment and let it sit for 4-6 hours.
2. After the ice has melted, check if there is leakage or any unusual conditions.
3. If problems persist, contact customer service for support.
